Rosscarbery Rowing Club
Terms of Use
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses rosscarberyrowing.ie, the website of Rosscarbery Rowing Club. By using the website you agree to them.
1. About the website
The website shares information about the club: rowing for juniors and adults, training times, events, results, news, fundraising and how to get involved. It is run by volunteers, and we do our best to keep it accurate and up to date.
2. Event, training and results information
Dates, times and venues can change, especially for regattas, which depend on weather and tides. Please check with the club or your coach before travelling. Results are published in good faith from official results and club records; if you spot a mistake, let us know and we will correct it.
3. Rowing and safety
Information on this website is general and is not a substitute for coaching, supervision or safety instructions. Taking part in club rowing is covered by the club's own membership, safety and safeguarding arrangements, not by these terms.
4. Photos and content
- Text, photos, logos and videos on this website belong to the club, our members or the photographers who took them.
- You are welcome to share links to our pages. Please ask before copying photos or text for other uses.
- Supporters' logos are shown with thanks and remain the property of each business.
- If you would like a photo removed, email rosscarberyrowing@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
5. Using the contact form
Please use the contact form for genuine enquiries only. Don't send anything unlawful, offensive or misleading, or try to overload or interfere with the website or its forms.
6. Donations and payments
Where the website links to a donation, membership or payment service, that service's own terms apply to the payment. The club will tell you clearly what any payment is for.
7. Links to other websites
We link to other websites, such as social media, other clubs, rowing bodies and our supporters. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
8. Liability
We provide the website as it is, free of charge, and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, the club is not liable for any loss arising from using the website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
