Round 4 of the Celtic Ross Hotel South West Rowing Championship took place in Castletownshend on Sunday 12 July, with clubs from across West Cork racing under a blazing sun in front of the castle.
Rosscarbery results
- 1st: Under 16 Girls, Under 16 Boys, Under 18 Girls and Under 18 Boys
- Podiums: eight more second and third places across Under 12, Under 14, Novice and Senior Mixed racing
Twelve medals in all: four gold, four silver and four bronze.
Myross Rowing Club took the Club of the Day shield. A week later our crews were back on the same water for the Cork County Finals, where the Under 16s won the county title.
