On Saturday 13 June Rosscarbery rowers took part in the Courtmacsherry Beach Sprint Regatta.
Beach sprints start with a sprint down the beach, followed by a fast race out around the buoys and back, and a final run to the finish line. It is the format heading to the Olympic Games in 2028. Find out more about beach sprints.
It was the first event of the Rowing Ireland Beach Sprint League, and an outstanding day for Rosscarbery, with five wins.
