Our crews collected podium finishes right through the programme, and The Southern Star described Rosscarbery as one of the strongest all-round clubs in the South West.
The race of the day
The Under 14 Women's race was one of the most memorable of the day. Our crew and Myross battled neck and neck all the way to the line, and it took a photo finish to separate them. The verdict went to Myross by the narrowest of margins. It was a brilliant race and a credit to both crews.
On the water and off it
It was a great day for the whole club, with our ladies' crew also out enjoying the regatta. Kilmacsimon Quay were Club of the Day.
Next up was Round 3 in Baltimore, where Rosscarbery were crowned Club of the Day.
